MARLA SUNDAY SUPPER SUMMER SERIES

Beginning way back in 2014 in San Francisco, MARLA Bakery Restaurant started offering Sunday Suppers as an oppurtunity to cook and eat in a more communal way. One meal, eaten together, paired with selected wines, it was a way to bring home into our restaurant. Always following the seasons, our Sunday Suppers ranged from an exploration of Roman Jewish Food to a meal cooked completely with live fire to San Francisco classics of the Golden Age to our annual "Christmas in New Mexico". Inspired by our curioustiy and memories, the common thread was always the desire to eat and drink together. As Amy and Joe say every Supper, this is the way we most like to cook and most like to eat.

Since moving MARLA up to Sonoma County, we've brought our Sunday Suppers back in various iterations- our parking lot series back in the pandemic days, pairing with Miracle Plum for a beautiful wine-centric series, eating together in the Tierra Vegetables Barn for an amazing Christmas In New Mexico. Now, we can bring our Sunday Suppers "home" to Davis Street and we could not be more thrilled to share this with you!

This year's Sunday Supper Summer Series is not one to miss! We're bringing Evan Bloom from Wise Sons up to showcase one of Joe's favorite New York haunts from his younger days (look it up, Sammy's Roumanian Steakhouse was the stuff of legends!), we're pairing dinner with some of our favorite Wine Makers, we're bringing back an all vegetarian coursed meal with Consider The Tomato,Part II...I mean, it's gonna be good, real good!!

Our Sunday Suppers are one seating with a fixed menu, but we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions with advanced notice. We do make great non alcoholic beverages for those that prefer not to drink wine or beer. The ticket price will include tax but not gratuity so please bring cash to tip the house, we can also accept Venmo.
